Joel gifted us with the wisdom of “dream to dream” – encouraging us to move beyond the status quo. It’s an invitation into the boundless possibility of continuous reimagining of aspirations, seeking growth, innovation, and a deeper understanding.
We gathered on Wednesday, September 6th for a fueling, transformative, inspiring live virtual show, ReLearning The American Dream, with the Unlearning community in our collective journey of understanding, compassion, and personal growth. Catch the recording below.
Joel Fariss (he/him):
Joel is a social philosopher, futurist, and burgeoning poet whose work aims to cultivate depth and circularity in what he calls “the linear meaning economy.” In his cross sector work, he practices “applied imagination” – a way of being, doing, and becoming that transcends disciplinary bounds – to design a more beautiful world.
Joel is not only a passionate advocate for corporate heterodoxy but also a global speaker on the critical role of human imagination and shared grief in shaping our collective destiny. His insights will undoubtedly enrich our exploration of “Relearning the American Dream.”
