Unlearning Hatred of Women: A Panel Discussion for Women’s History Month

Are you tired of feeling powerless in the face of misogyny and patriarchy? Watch this Women’s History Month panel discussion that will inspire you to take healing action and create real change.

We explored the roots of societal hatred of women, and how it’s expressed in covert and overt ways. This is a self-guided opportunity to deepen your practice of leadership alongside a virtual community of anti-oppression individuals.

MEET THE PANEL

 

Rosie Yeung, President & Founder @ Changing Lenses. She's a smiling Asian woman with a bob-length black haircut, dangling earrings and a white t-shirt on a white background.Rosie Yeung is a trauma-informed Mental Wellness Coach and nonviolent JEDI Warrior, focused on anti-racism, anti-patriarchy, and wealth redistribution. Rosie is on a mission to decolonize corporate Canada and heal our workplaces from the patriarchal Western ideals which are embedded in corporate systems and internalized in employers / employees. She specializes in 1-on-1 and small group coaching with racialized women (especially Asian diaspora women) who face inner conflict and tension between professional success, their family of origin and cultural values, and their personal need for authenticity and acceptance. Amani Will is a Singing Poet BeatMan, Fractal Liberationist, Embodied, Mindful, Intergenerationally Therapeutic, Creative Liberation Coach, Counselor, & Council for Change Makers in a Changing World. He creates spaces for men to heal from their unconscious hatred of the feminine aspect who want to be in better relationships with themselves, and the women in their lives. He helps them navigate the multiple masks they have to wear in order to survive in today’s culture of pressure and burnout. He helps them dissolve the internal and external barriers getting in the way of their relationships and passions. Amani’s group work helps men discover they’re not alone in this journey. Amy MK Davies, Owner & Design Lead @ Picture Ink. She brings to this role 14+ years in the Graphic Design field and a life-long pursuit of nearly everything creative. Amy has a deep love for typography, a passion for pattern design and a fascination with the science of color. Leveraging those things in order to create change and help build a better, more inclusive future is why she gets out of bed in the morning. Amy is the owner/founder/design primary of Word Picture Ink, a creative studio based, as she is, in the Pacific Northwest. Amy believes that design has the power to show us to ourselves and can open otherwise impossible dialogues with people with whom we have little in common.

Jackson, the host of Unlearning, is a North American based leader serving humans around the world. Serving in the role of Lead Executive Officer at LTHJ Global, Lindsey empowers people, leaders, and organizations to pursue and achieve their full potential. For 15+ years Lindsey has been authentically leading empowering entities for personal and organizational wellness. Lindsey specializes in executive coaching using the Enneagram, group facilitation, DEI training and implementation, and team development. Lindsey has worked nationally and internationally with small to mid-size businesses, nonprofits, corporations, founders and CEOs to embed meaningful and lasting change.

 

 

The event will also feature a 15-minute Q&A with the community, where you’ll have the opportunity to ask our panelists any questions you may have about the topics covered during the discussion.
